  • Is Flexi better than bank finance?
    Yes! Unlike banks which charge non-refundable admin and processing fees when you apply for finance we only charge a fully refundable security deposit. You also don’t need to pay for registration, insurance, maintenance, servicing, and consumables like tyres and batteries with Flexi. This alone can save you tens of thousands of dirhams. On top of that we normally process applications in less than 24 hours, whereas banks can take weeks to provide an approval. Just like with bank finance you won’t fully own the car until a later date, but we can arrange full ownership for you at any time of your choosing if you want to own it earlier.
  • Is Flexi a lease or rental?
    Flexi gives you the opportunity to drive a brand new car to the exact specifications of your choosing - just like buying it! It is structured as a lease (or rental) and at the end of your term you have the following options: Own the car by making a purchase payment that we will communicate to you in advance Extend and keep driving the car Hand the car back and get a brand new one Hand the car back and walk away At Flexi we’re all about giving you the choice to do what works best for you.
  • With Flexi do I own the car?
    You will have the opportunity to own the car at the end of your subscription with us. Until then the car is yours to drive freely just like if you owned it - but without any of the financial risk or hassle of ownership!
  • How fast can you process my application?
    We normally process applications within 24 hours and we’re working on reducing that down to a few minutes!
  • I’m self-employed, can you help?
    Yes! We’re more than happy to help self-employed customers. Our senior leadership team have all been business owners themselves and understand the challenges of managing cashflow with a car purchase - so we’re here to help.
  • I’ve only just arrived in the UAE and I need a car - help!
    Don’t worry, we’ve got you. It might take us a little longer to process your application, and we might need some additional information from you, but we can normally help new arrivals get behind the wheel in record time.
  • What does my monthly payment include?
    Your monthly payment includes registration, insurance, maintenance, servicing, and consumables such as tyres and batteries. It’s the most hassle-free way to drive!
  • Is Flexi cheaper than buying a car normally?
    We have the cheapest up-front costs of any form of ownership. With Flexi you don’t need to pay a huge downpayment for the car, you don’t need to pay bank admin and processing fees for auto finance, just a fully-refundable seurity deposit and your first monthly payment. Throughout the time you’re driving the car you have no registration, insurance, maintenance, servicing, or consumables costs either. If the car breaks down we deal with all the hassle. If you decide to own the car at the end of your Flexi period the overall cost may end up being more than other ownership methods, but with Flexi all of your day-to-day driving risk is eliminated. Overall we may not have the cheapest long-term ownership cost, but we offer the fastest, least risky, most hassle-free form of ownership.
  • Do I need to visit your office?
    Flexi is 100% digital, no need to visit our office. You only need to enjoy the showroom experience with your chosen dealership to drive away in your brand new car!
  • Can I change cars part way through?
    We will soon be rolling out the ability for you to change cars directly from within your Flexi dashboard! In the meantime, if you want to change your car part way through you can contact us and we’ll do our best to help.
  • I’ve only just got my UAE licence, can you help?
    In most cases you can join Flexi with a new licence, provided you have been driving for a while in your home country. In this regard we are bound by the restrictions placed on us by the insurance companies that we work with, so please contact us if you’re not sure and one of our friendly team will assist.
  • How long will it take to get my car?
    Normally we can have your car ready within about a week. We can’t commit to an exact time frame as each of our dealership partners is different, but we will keep you updated throughout the process and can generally give you an accurate timeframe if you have a specific car in mind - just let us know which one and we’ll be happy to help.
  • I'm currently paying with credit/debit card, are there other payment methods?
    We're excited to launch new payment methods soon, including direct debit, but for now we only accept credit or debit card. We'll let you know when other payment methods become available.
  • Why might I have to pay an early termination fee if I cancel early?
    When you take a car with Flexi we work with our partners to buy that car brand new. All new cars depreciate heavily in their first couple of years which creates a huge cost for us. If we passed that cost onto you your initial payments would be enormous - but we don’t want to do that, we want your monthly payments to be predictable and affordable. This means that we are effectively subsidising the car for you over the initial period, knowing that things will even out over the full term of your agreement with us. So if you cancel your agreement early we may need to charge you an additional amount to cover the car’s depreciation.
  • What happens if the vehicle is damaged when it is returned?
    Flexi will expect the car to be returned in a good condition, with only minor wear and tear commensurate for the age and mileage. If the vehicle is returned requiring any repairs, the repair cost could be taken from your initial security deposit.
  • What if I have an accident in my car?
    Flexi will require you to get a Police report and report the accident to us as soon as possible. Flexi will assist with the vehicle recovery, and repair. Don’t worry, you are fully covered. Depending on who was at fault, you may be required to pay a small insurance excess payment when the insurance claim is made.
  • What about fines and toll fees?
    You will be required to pay for the fines immediately as they are reported. Flexi will charge the card you provided at the start of the agreement with a 10% admin fee applied to the fine. In the event of a serious fine, which incurs black points or vehicle impound, Flexi will expect cooperation to assist with moving the points to the drivers licence of the person who committed the offence. Your car will be ready to drive through any UAE toll gate from the point of collection. Flexi will charge the toll fees to the credit card provided at the start of the lease with an AED 1 admin fee additional.
  • What if I am unable to make a payment?
    At Flexi, we understand very well, that at times life can get expensive. If you are having difficulties with making a payment, you must contact the Flexi team immediately and before the payment is charged. We will do our best to support you. In the event of bounced payments, and repeated failed collections, Flexi may charge additional penalty fees. If left unpaid, Flexi may disable the car along with forced recovery and potential legal action.
